How the UK Free Lottery Works
The UK Free Lottery is the Free Lottery run by Lottery.co.uk: a free-to-enter UK online lottery, drawn every day since November 2014.
How the draw works
- 6 numbers are drawn from 1 to 75. There is no bonus ball.
- The Daily draw is every evening at 19:30 UK time - 20:30 or 21:30 SAST. See draw times.
- The Weekly draw, "The Big One", is every Monday at 14:00 UK time - 15:00 or 16:00 SAST.
- The numbers are published in ascending order, usually within minutes of the draw.
How betting on it works in South Africa
Licensed South African bookmakers offer the UK Free Lottery as a Lucky Numbers bet, with the two draws as two markets: UK Free Lottery Daily 6/75 and UK Free Lottery Weekly 6/75.
- Choose the market - Daily or Weekly - and how many numbers you want to back, then pick them from 1 to 75.
- Choose your stake. The payout is your stake multiplied by the bookmaker's fixed odds for that bet.
- Place the bet before the bookmaker's cut-off time for that draw.
- After the draw, compare your numbers with the latest results.
Prizes in the UK
For context: UK players who match all six numbers win £500 in the Daily draw and £10,000 in the Weekly draw. There are no prizes for matching fewer numbers, and nothing rolls over. The chance of matching all six is 1 in 201,359,550.

Questions
What is the difference between the UK Free Lottery Daily and Weekly draws?
They are two separate draws of the same game. The Daily draw is every evening at 19:30 UK time; the Weekly draw ("The Big One") is every Monday at 14:00 UK time. Each has its own draw numbers, and South African bookmakers offer each as its own market, so a bet on one is settled only on that draw.
Can I enter the UK Free Lottery from South Africa?
The Free Lottery itself is run by Lottery.co.uk for UK players. In South Africa you place a fixed-odds bet on the result with a licensed bookmaker instead.
Is there a bonus ball in the UK Free Lottery?
No. Each draw is six numbers from 1 to 75, and that is all.
Why is it called the Free Lottery?
Because UK players enter for free: the prizes are paid for by advertising, not ticket sales. "Free Lottery" is simply the name of the game.
Are the numbers shown in the order they were drawn?
No. The lottery publishes the six numbers in ascending order only, so that is how they are shown here.
